About Anna
I hold a Master’s Degree in Counselling from the University of Ottawa and Marriage and a Family Therapy Certificate from The University of Guelph. I worked as a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) for over a decade in Ontario, Canada supporting youth and their families facing complex mental health issues. As an Associate Professor teaching in Addictions and Mental Health at Durham College, I taught students how to use a trauma-informed approach to support change.
After relocating to California and starting a family, I developed a passion for the empowering, holistic and future-oriented nature of health coaching and decided to complete a Health and Wellness Coaching Certificate through MindBodyGreen.
In my spare time, I love spending time with my husband and daughter, traveling, and competing in triathlons as part of my local triathlon team. Joining the triathlon community has had such a positive impact on both my physical and mental health that it was one of the inspirations for me to move into the world of health coaching.

My Philosophy
At Coutts Wellness Coaching, I blend mind, body, and lifestyle practices to create sustainable change. I believe wellness requires a holistic approach that considers the many pillars of health and a client’s strengths and values. I utilize a client-centered, collaborative approach so that together we uncover small, manageable shifts that fit your real life, allowing you to build energy, resilience, and confidence from the inside out.
